Being committed to making your business better than your competitors’ means putting that extra effort and energy into looking after your customers. For those businesses that already do this they know that it works. For those who are unsure, try it and see the response from your customers. Another good idea includes having good drinking water and clean glasses, or a ready supply of plastic cups.
I have several water coolers throughout my office, with one in my boardroom, to make sure any visitor to my office has easy access to quality filtered water. Having a box of tissues in the boardroom and at reception is another simple point that doesn’t appear to be a big deal but is another reinforcement of the fact that you care about your customers. Magnificent businesses care for their customers and they are prepared to show it.
